PEH's style is different. He is a very effective "attack dog". Go read his speech and you'll see how he took the Govt to task for repeatedly over-shooting "worst case scenario" population planning. I first noticed him during the Punggol BE rally where he coined the term "I can smell Hougang from here". Every party needs an effective attack dog. To me, the opposite of an effective attack will be Putucheary and Vikram. You only end up making the opponent look good and you look small.

I can also discern the various roles each WP MP now play in the team. The intellectual drivers seem to be SL and particularly, GG. He was the one who gave the intellectual depth to the WP's proposal, handing out charts etc. He was the one to whom Ministers grilled and he held his ground well. I even heard compliments from the PAP camp for him.

I still cannot discern clearly the role CSM plays. Maybe its more in the background but I can't read anything clearly so far. Just have to keep watching. I'm glad he posted on this Facebook how he tried to question GCT and MBT during their speeches but was denied by the Speaker. Thats what you need to do - people perceive you're too quiet. They may not realise you want to ask and this is the only way to let people know.
