It's that time of year where we Sinkies give thanks for
1. us getting fcuked by the government left, right, center, front and back for the past 59 years and more years to come
2. having the GST increased to 9% on April 1
3. public transport fares to increase (again!) in December
4. Lawless Wong hoping to win the general elections next year so that he can form a stable government. By "stable government" he means an authoritarian regime much like the ones in Myanmar (led by the military junta), China (led by Eleven Jinping), Russia (led by Puke-tin), North Korean (led by Kim Jong Un).
5. Sinkieland having a stable government run by the PAP. So-called stable government has enabled Lee Con You, Wooden/Woody Goh and Pinky to pass bills in Parleement without opposition. There are countless examples of such bills: GST, bringing in foreign workers from India and China, giving citizenships to about 20,000 foreigners a year, increase the CPF minimum sum every other year, setting up of CareShield, etc.
