The Bengal monitor lizard was gang raped and then eaten by 4 men in Maharashthra. Video footage of the crime has been recovered by forest officials.The persons were Sandeep Tukaram Pawar, Mangesh Kamtekar, Akshay Kamtekar and Ramesh Ghag, all of them hunters, have been arrested. The matter came to light after the accused were held while attempting to enter the restricted Chandoli National Park.
