Came across this incident and kudos to the Chinese old man who was by himself in the lounge on the PC. 2 Chinese boys no older than 12 were also on PCs with one munching chips from a bag. The muncher then leaves to go to his parents. But he leaves the empty bag by the PC side.
Old man asks the remaining boy if the kid is his brother. The boy becomes evasive. Old man asks a second time and gets mumbling in return. Old man gets fed up and very loudly ask if they treat their home like this. Everyone look up from their PCs. The boy quietly picks up the bag and leaves sheepishly. Everyone gives a broad smile to the old man and few thumbs up.
From the accent, old man sounds like first generation American while the kids are probably recent arrivals Americans.
