Nowadays most of the plastic bags degrade within a year.
No point keeping them.
There was a time I was at the Simei Expo when Courts was having its warehouse sale.
I was carrying some stuff and so I asked for a plastic bag from the counter girl. She said no.
She is an FT Pinoy. She said it's management policy not to give plastic bag unless I buy something.
Oh well...

no plastic bags in supermarket failed miserably. pay for your plastic bags also fail. in other countries,you have to pay for that extra plastic bags or any carriers. i think china supermarkets still charge a fee for plastic bags....so go shopping with your own bags
