Construction are their people. The road in front of my house is at least dugup 5 times a year. You will never starve with pap. Overhead bridges are the best scams. First we build one. Then oh we need ramps. So money spurged again. And they always take mo ths. After that oh we need lifts. One bridge is three contracts. If you are in a company you wouod already be fired. Incompetent at best, but its rampant corruption

Nearly everyone on the street holds a phone, red plastic bag with takeaway food, or both.

There are a crazy amount of good looking women on Tinder, but most of them look very similar and boring.

People here take looking at your phone to a new level. I've lived in many countries but this is insane.

"Homeland" HDB zones are like cemeteries for the living.

There is no arts scene here which is weird to put it kindly. There is no underground music scene, unlike every other Asian country. Let me know if I'm wrong.

It's nice that imported slaves maintain the plants along the sides of our roads, but the rest of the developed world has moved on.

Racist immigration policies like the white Australia policy or Canadian head tax are also thankfully things of the past, unlike Singapore's Chinese-first PR policy.

People only aspire to get money, but they have no idea what to do with it. Many bend over and let the gov fuck them in the ass with taxes so they can buy a Mercedes and get respect from the foreign workers in cattle trucks. Or buy a overpriced home where they can do the same shit, eat, sleep and watch phone they would do in a HDB.

My foreign friends who live in Singapore observe that

1) Very few sinkies have died from covid. In their own countries, their citizens have died by the hundreds, if not, by the thousands, from covid.

2) Vast majority of sinkies own their homes. Back in their own countries, many of the citizens are renting their homes based on 2 year contracts.

3) Sinkies who attend local university are not saddled with crippling student loan debt. In America, students have spent 10 years repaying their student loan debts and still haven't cleared their loan

4) PAP is wise to not let moslems and hispanic immigrants flood into their countries. No moslem crime gang or latino drug cartels here. Just some little bengs aroundo nly.

They all wish their countries were led by PAP.

And ramps came about not because they cared for the public. They were starting the para and youth olympics. Host country has to be 60% handicap friendly. For bloody 50 years sbs doesnt even give handicapped people any discounts.

If we were to discuss vaccinations in schools, my american friend told me parents have to sign off . Here no need for such trifle things as human rights.
