Is this similar to what is happening in Singapore? I recall LKY saying that he regretted emphasizing in education of the female gender and equal opportunities, which led to the female's earning income rising so much so their choice of husbands becomes limited.

joe "liar" lieberman was democrat when he first got elected as senator. he changed his party affiliation to "independent" or "connecticut for lieberman" after losing the dem primary in 2006. the other senator, bernie sanders, changed his party affiliation from democratic socialist to "independent".
