Small update: A friend got a rebellious maid. She was so angry that she wanted to send the maid back. There are daily flights to indonesia but the maid agency collected money from her and refused to send the maid back, citing that the air fares were expensive or flights cancelled.

My friend suspects that the maid agency wants to do a local transfer and the maid was recalled by the agency.

LOL, the root of the problem is the churning or poaching of maids in Singapore by unethical agencies. Many maids mutate after six months.

Many Singaporeans were also conned to bringing in maids from Myanmar, Philippines and Indonesia, undertakes all risks if the maids are covided or have other medical conditions, only to be hijacked by the maid agencies after 6 months, by reimbursing maids with more leaves in new contracts or kick-backs.
