The number of workers retrenched due to company restructuring rose but why TRS did not mention that Singaporeans among the workers retrenched had fallen?! Trying to stir shit?

I do not see anywhere the word "Singaporean" as claimed by you.
MOM define Residents as Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents-so within that residents category Singaporean citizens may very well form the bulk -with PR(foreigners holding foreign passports) forming the minority. PR's are NOT SINGAPOREANS, they are FOREIGNERS.
I think MOM should not use the vague residents definition but give specific numbers for citizens and PR's (who are foreign passport holders)
This is what the Opposition parties should fight for in parliament- give specific numbers for citizens and PR's in all govt statistics.
As for people like Isogallardo and others who do know why what is meant by Singaporeans -I'm an example, BORN here, educated here, served NATIONAL SERVICE and RESERVIST and paid income tax here.
LOL you think PRs aren't educated here, don't serve NS or pay taxes? I do know many PRs who are doing all that. BTW even if it is residents, like you said, it could be PRs. Or maybe most of them were PRs instead of Singaporeans? Many PRs are also spouses of Singaporeans. Be it husbands or wives, are you saying that they should be excluded now?
