For so long the locals had their chance at prosperity and now the foreigners should also be allowed a chance to gain access to a good education, career and live a good life too.

Locals really have a lot to learn from foreigners in terms of humility, worldview and gratitude.

Tell that to the American locals in USA and see what they think of your argument...Americans had even more chance at prosperity, more land to welcome immigrants and they are all descendants of immigrants...going by same proportion as SG, they should have accepted new immigrants to the tune of may be 50 million or even more in the last 5 years...

Haha foreigners in SG got more humility, world view and gratitude?! Many of them don't even say please and thank you, no such words exist in their vocab...
