Mr Tony Tan, did you read the articles on Temasek Review posted by netizens about you? Which one says we want to totally shut off foreigners? While we did say “Singaporeans first”, we never said “Singaporeans only”! Why don’t you dare to meet our complaints head-on? Why are you twisting our words and defending yourself like a coward, not daring to confront the complaints directly?
I wrote the article below;
http://www.temasekreview.com/2011/07/11/why-i-don’t-feel-i-belong-over-here/

Dr Tony Tan

There are several other local university students who had shared their frustration in the article and several others who contributed other articles. Read them carefully. We are not opposed to the presence of real foreign talents in the universities. We are opposed to foreign parasites. Most of all, we are opposed to foreigners(even if they are talented) getting more than their fair share of the country’s resources in the form of free education and paid allowances. Have they done NS? Did their parents pay taxes? The moment those students step into the country, they have been sucking in all the benefits without making sacrifices like the rest of us Native Singaporeans and they suck in more benefits than us. They are not even citizens yet. Tell me, how can you justify that as elected representatives of the people? What infuriates us the most is that some of the foreign scholars you attracted have either turned lazy spoilt by your stupid generosity in giving money away freely. Some of the foreign scholars are simply mediocre (2nd-lower honors and below), although they may have lost the scholarship near graduation like Widjaja (Asean scholar who stabbed his lecturer and then committed suicide).
PAP, your stinginess with Singaporeans is well-known throughout the land. Why is it when it comes to foreigners who never lifted a finger for the country, you behave like a drunken man splurging carelessly on his mistresses? Even the most filial son will lose loyalty to his father if he spends money freely on adopted outsider children and neglects his own flesh-and-blood.
Tony Tan, I would have respected you and forgave you readily like a filial son would to an unloving Papa if you had just apologized for your mistakes. Instead, you twisted my words and refused to recognize my complaint. I have totally lost respect for you.
I will tell all my brothers and sisters never to vote for you. If you were a father, I will disown you if I could. You never did your duty as a father.

The usual FAP traitor's tactic of twisting the words of their critics to divert attention from the issue. What's new? But do these traitors know that it really makes them look stupid?

I remember when someone/somepeople did an expose on some of these foreign parasites posting their pictures & their crimes e.g. not contributing to group projects, all talk & no delivery, etc :D

Heard the university stepped in to "silence" the critiques, Now you have the "future" presidential wannabe showing his pro-FT bias colors. Makes one wonder if TT can represent the interests of "lesser mortals"

If TT wins the election, Sporeans will be doing their children and our youths great injustice!

If TT wins the election, Sporeans will be doing their children and our youths great injustice!

Knowing how stupid, kiasi, and buey kan most Sinkies are, this whoreson will be voted in to take over from Prataman. Bookies opened odds already?

hey, any brothers out there know how the vote statutes for ceremonial presidency in Singapore is like? care to share?

for me, I'll vote for Tan Jay See, my favorite! I am betting on this black horse... what's the odds of Tan Jay See becoming Singapore's Ceremonial President?

During my son's 3-year study in Temasek Poly, there were 5 FT students in his call. My son's results were mostly A or A-, except for 1 D. Whereas for these 5 FT students (3 PRCs, 1 Vietnamese & 1 Pinoy), they received on average B- or C+. For the result D, my son did not like the module as he has difficulty understanding his FT Indian lecturer - strange accent & weird pronounciation.

After they graduated, all six of them applied for NTU for undergraduate study. And, do you know what??? All these 5 FT students got in into NTU, my son's application was rejected. I wrote in to find out, only to be given this reason: NTU will accept student with any D result even though his GPA score was much higher as compared to these 5 FT students. Anyway, NTU encouraged my son to keep on applying until application becomes successful. And, mind you that each application is not FOC, an admin fee has to be paid with each application. And, my son kept on applying & applying for the next 3 years, never successful & a waste of time!!!

After much deliberation, I advised my son to apply to overseas universities. Yes, he did!!! Not only did his application was accepted by all these universities ( Australia National Uni, Uni of New South Wales, Uni of Queensland, Northwestern Uni, Cornell Uni, Massachusetts Institute of Technolo---- & St Andrew's Uni), he was given a scholarship by 2 universities. He chose ultimately The University of Queensland as the course there has more hands-on components & very much field relevant to his specialisation.

He did very well throughout his study there & received a GPA score of 6.78 out of 7. Imagine a Singaporean boy who once got a D for his diploma & rejected 4 times by NTU, able to achieve this GPA score. He was placed under Dean's List & highly recommended to do his Honours. After his traumatic experience with NTU, he became very disillusioned with Singapore education system & decided not to come back to Singapore anymore. As mentioned by him rather seriously, he will not be coming back unless there is a change in the government.

As for his 5 FT friends who had studied in NTU & heavily subsidized by Singapore taxpayers' $$$, they are no longer in Singapore as they succeed in finding better jobs elsewhere beyond Singapore's borders.

Tony Tan, I put these questions for you to reflect with sincerity & impartiality:
(1) In what ways have these 5 FT students contributed to Singapore's economy?
(2) Why do your PAP colleagues (including yourself) make use the taxpayers' money to pay for these 5 FT students in NTU?
(3) In your right mind as a politician, is this the way your PAP colleagues (including yourself) reject local talents without giving them even a chance to prove their economic worth to Singapore?
(4) Do you think these driven-out local talents will ever come here again with you around as Elected President (if you are elected)?

I rest my case!

Is it not obvious by now that the FAP's FTrash policy is really meant to secure 1 Familee's rule by driving out Sporeans, especially the capable ones? Since they are most likely to pose the greatest threat to its rule?

at the end of the day sg govt favors foreigners and hates on locals but then so what?

So fucking what? They are still voted in.

Like I have posted before, this guy is Top Dog.
Vote for anybody else except him.
