The road leading up to the various entertainment and eating spots on Dempsey Hill has been blocked, after falling prey to a fallen tree due to the bad weather.

STOMPer Goh recounted the incident:

"There was a heavy downpour this morning around at 8am.

"I couldn't get to Botanic Gardens for my morning walk, so I drove to Dempsey Hill for a cuppa.

"Unfortunately, the road was block by a fallen tree.

"Thank god, the restaurants beside the tree were not affected.

"Please get someone to remove the fallen tree soon or we can't get to the Dempsey Hill 'paradise'."

Cannot blame NParks la.

When the trees fell near Istana, they discovered that trees has roots.

Now they learnt that trees has branches too !!

The million-dollar civil serpents are learning something new everyday.

Just need to cite 'caught off guard', and all blames can be absolved and million-dollar salary continues.

Anything new since 40+years ago, besides the humongous salary increases ?

we can be almost certain that there will be selective roads in sinkie land, that they'd never be caught off guard. the trees along oxley rise will never fall. they will erect scarefoldings & take all precaution to prevent the trees from falling.
