Russians I predict will be getting Chinese built warships at discount from Xijinping, as Chinese are building very well very advanced and very FAST. Fleets and fleets of very modern ships pouring into sea from their shipyards makes Putin very envy. Putin actually lost most important heavy shipyards of Black Seas after Ukraine defected to US side, although Putin's wars took back Crimea it did not include that most important heavy shipyard and many other military assets including Antonov Aircraft, Motor Sichi (aerospace and marine turbine engines) Hovercraft Factory etc etc. It need another big war campaign to wipe out Ukraine if Putin want to take back these old Soviet military resources - and may be too late. Because (Gong-Kia) Ukrainians had wasted these resources, outdated, under-utilized, bankrupted, and sold many things to Chinese before bankruptcy.
The example is aircraft carrier, Putin is left with only 1, very old. It is from the same yard in Ukraine which built the original ship that had been converted by Chinese to 辽宁, Chinese had made very strong improvement on it, use it as a test bed, and developed much newer carriers. Now Chinese plan to retire 辽宁 carrier. Putin still have no yards to built new carriers - while Chinese built many new heavy yards, and expanded very strongly. Eventually I suspect 辽宁 would be sold cheaply to Putin. Putin had contracted French to make 4 units of Helicopter Carriers Mistral Class but only 2 were delivered and France refunded huge billions after NATO sanctioned Russia for Crimea Wars, stopping the rest of supplies. The reason being the same, Putin lack a large enough yard to make these.
To use Ang Moh Trumps slogan and real Make Russia Great Again, Putin have to really take strong military actions against ex-USSR & ex-Warsaw-Pact members and reclaim USSR assets, as well as teach traitors a bloody hurtful lesson.

Russia and China will conduct the first stage of their Joint Sea 2017 naval drills off the Baltic coast this week, the Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed. Beijing has sent one of its most advanced missile destroyers for the exercises.
The Baltic phase of the exercise, starting Friday, will involve about a dozen warships in addition to military aircraft and helicopters from both sides, the Russian defense ministry said in a statement.
“The main goals of the exercises are to increase the efficiency in cooperation between the two fleets in countering security threats at sea, to train compatibility of the crews of Russian and Chinese warships, to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the Russian Navy and the Naval Forces of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army,” the Russian ministry said.

Chinese naval forces are scheduled to arrive in the naval base of Baltiysk in Russia's Kaliningrad region on July 21 for an official welcoming ceremony. The active phase of the joint naval drills in the Baltic Sea will be held between July 24 and 27.
Earlier, Chinese media reported that Beijing has deployed the Changsha, the second advanced Type 052D guided missile destroyer, which was commissioned just two years ago. The warship will be accompanied by the missile frigate Yuncheng and the Luoma Lake supply ship.
Last week, on their way to the Baltic, the Chinese fleet engaged in live-fire drills in the Mediterranean.
After the conclusion of the first phase of the drills off the Baltic coast, the Chinese Navy will join Russian ships in the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk in September for the second phase of the Russian-Chinese exercises.
The Chinese and Russian navies have been staging their Joint Sea maneuvers since 2012. Last year, an active stage of the drills was conducted in the South China Sea, a highly tense and one of the most contested region in the world.
