They living in their glass tower as usual. They keep meeting up and issuing all those worthless NWC recommendations not realizing nobody following or give a fuck! Now our dear Minister TCJ is not happy that our median income has not moved in the last 5 years but has instead declined due to inflation!! Now they want to make it mandatory for cleaning companies to comply if they want to keep their license and everyone jumping now. All this while our top end salaries has jumped into the stratosphere!!

They knew all along lah, just act blur, Zorro knew all along but now then talk as though he was instrumental in getting things done.

Why don't NWC issue guideline saying top income earners ( $20k and above) take 20% pay cut to be online with everyone else. Everyone happy including the top earners since they know they don't have to follow but everyone thinks that they do!

Part of the problem comes from letting inflation go unchecked and irresponsibly letting prices escalate.

GDP growth is fueled by "consumer spending"(consumption) and the constant borrowing which enables it. This is why economists, politicians, and other assorted lunatics are so obsessed with constant GDP growth.

The "business cycle" is very simple. When the rate of growth in money supply (debt supply) exceeds the rate of growth in the general economy (GDP), the excess "money" has to go somewhere. It creates an illusion of prosperity. Artificial bubbles will form either in housing, stocks, currency, etc. Eventually the market always corrects for these phony excesses and the bubbles burst. (just like the poker game.)

It's like a relative visiting your house and telling u to buy a new tv so that he can enjoy. Will u do it?

The gahment approach is that the poor can be given handouts but the rest like the middle class has to cope with all the price increase!

The poor, on paper, seems to be well taken care of. But on the ground, the reality is that it is easily to beg from strangers than get a handout from the government.
