Dr M is back from Australia
SUBANG JAYA: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who was warded at a hospital in Melbourne for a chest infection, arrived home last night.
Accompanied by his wife Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, the couple touched down on a private jet at 8.25pm after a seven-hour flight.
Dr Mahathir was all smiles as he disembarked and looked himself as he walked to his car. He waved as he was driven off. A group of Perkasa members led by its Selangor chief Abdullah Mansor also present.
Dr Mahathir was admitted to Epworth Hospital last Saturday and was discharged on Tuesday.
He was scheduled to address Malaysian students at a seminar on human development, organised by the Umno Club of Melbourne.
