In early 1999, @ Las Vegas Sands Expo, I already saw a near real time animation using Giant SGI mainframe, motion capturing devices for hands (fingers) head and face.

At that time Bill Clinton in White House was brewing PAP type Sex scandal with Monica Luwinsky:

The animation demo using several huge displays hanging high above the booth that entire hall almost could see, and an actor comedian artist played Bill Clinton, another played an interviewer, interview faked-Clinton live on that stage, and the Giant SGI mainframe showed Bill Clinton in realistic face and voices, talking live about his own sex scandals with funny joking contents. Entire Sands Expo hall though it was really Clinton in Vegas being interviewed, only those right in front of that booth saw that it was actually just a comedian artist playing Clinton with motion capture devices, the mainframe animated a Clinton live according to actor's motion, and merged video with the interviewer. There is just milliseconds about 8-9 frames time delay between the live video and the animation because the mainframe was so powerful.
