SINGAPORE - Four young men in Singapore had heart inflammation after receiving their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

The men - aged 18 to 30 - have all recovered from myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart), said the Ministry of Health (MOH) in a statement on Friday night (June 11).

Most of the cases were reported to have occurred within a few days after the second jab.

This is out of a total of six such cases reported by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA). However, the benefits of getting a Covid-19 jab outweigh the risks, said the country's expert committee on the Covid-19 vaccination.

As a precaution, the expert panel said vaccinated people, especially adolescents and younger men, should avoid strenuous physical activity for one week after their second dose.

During this period, they should seek medical attention if they develop chest pain, shortness of breath or abnormal heartbeats, said MOH.

"Most cases are mild, recover without the need for significant intervention and do not suffer any long-term effects, although very rarely, severe cases may result in damage to the heart muscles," said the expert committee.

"Our assessment is that the benefits of receiving the mRNA Covid-19 vaccines - the reduction in Covid-19 infections and severe complications even if infected - continue to outweigh the risks of vaccination."

The four cases reported by the HSA are aged between 18 and 30, and had their symptoms a few days after receiving the second dose of an mRNA-based vaccine.

Both Covid-19 vaccines in Singapore - by Pfizer-BioNtech and Moderna - use such technology.

All four men have recovered or have been discharged from hospital.

MOH added that the four cases here are at "the upper end of the expected range of this age group, based on background incidence rates".

"While further studies and investigations are ongoing, the currently available data suggests that there may be a very small risk of myocarditis and pericarditis after the second dose of an mRNA vaccine, particularly in young men," the ministry said.

The expert committee also said that heart inflammation following the second dose of the vaccine has been observed in Israel and the United States in men below 25.

The risk is estimated to be at 1.6 cases per 100,000 doses in the US.

It added that there has been no increased risk associated with the first dose of the vaccine, and that the condition is generally more common in men than women.

In May, it was reported that 20 cases of anaphylaxis - a severe life-threatening allergic reaction - had happened in Singapore in relation to the Covid-19 vaccine.

In a separate update, the HSA said cases of myocarditis and pericarditis have been reported with Covid-19 vaccines both overseas and locally.

Myocarditis and pericarditis have many causes and most are due to viral infections and immunological reactions, it said, and in most cases, the inflammation is mild.

The authority has received six reports of myocarditis and pericarditis, of which four were in men younger than 30 years.

"HSA will continue to monitor this potential safety issue closely," it added.

And if even one of them died, they would claim it has nothing to do with the vaccine. Assholes!

Heart inflammation - heart on fire.

Too bad this song and music video wasn't used for the gov dot sg vaccination propaganda... they had to resort to hiring Mr Shopee and irresponsible driver Vomit Singh.

Jab moment at 1:59.

It means the 4 young men have been poisoned. You cannot exercise after getting poison, if it is healthy, you can exercise immediately. I eat organic fruits and drink its juice and then i can cycle 100km WITH FULL ENERGY. So which is healthy.

Don't take this lightly, hokay.

Heart Inflammation
Also known as Endocarditis, Myocarditis, Pericarditis
Inflammation is your body’s response to infection or injury. It can affect many areas of the body and is a cause of many major diseases, including cancer, ischemic heart disease, and autoimmune diseases. Inflammation in the heart causes damage and can lead to serious health problems.

There are three main types of heart inflammation: endocarditis, myocarditis, and pericarditis. Endocarditis is inflammation of the inner lining of the heart’s chambers and valves. Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle. Pericarditis is inflammation of the tissue that forms a sac around the heart. Many things cause heart inflammation. Common causes include viral or bacterial infections and medical conditions that damage the heart and cause inflammation.

You may have different signs and symptoms depending on the type and severity of the heart inflammation that you have. The treatment your doctor recommends may depend on whether you are diagnosed with inflammation of the lining of your heart or valves, the heart muscle, or the tissue surrounding the heart. You may be treated with medicine, procedures, or possibly surgery to treat your condition and its complications. Complications may include an arrhythmia, or irregular heartbeat, and heart failure.

Coronavirus: 7,738 UK cases recorded in 24 hours

There have been 226 cases of myocarditis or pericarditis among 141 million fully vaccinated people in the US. However, fewer than 100 cases of heart inflammation would be typical of the under-30s age group. Thus, the side effect is raising some eyebrows. The CDC reported that the Pfizer side effect occurs "more often after getting the second dose". Heart inflammation is seemingly a rare side effect of the Moderna vaccine too.

Symptoms of myocarditis or pericarditis typically occur a few days after getting the second jab.

Myocarditis

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) explained myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle.
Common symptoms of myocarditis include:
  • A stabbing pain and/or tightness in the chest which may spread across the body
  • Shortness of breath when lightly exercising or walking
  • Difficulty breathing when resting
  • Flu-like symptoms such as a high temperature, tiredness and fatigue
  • Palpitations or an abnormal heart rhythm.
Sometimes the symptoms will go away on their own, other times it can stop the heart from pumping effectively.
This condition is usually diagnosed following an electrocardiogram (ECG), a chest X-ray, an echocardiogram, and blood tests.
Treatment can involve close monitoring, anti-inflammatory medicines and antibiotics.
Although most people have recovered, a total of 41 patients are still experiencing heart inflammation symptoms, reported The Guardian.
And 15 of the young men are in hospital; three patients are being treated in intensive care units – two of whom had existing health conditions.

Pericarditis

Pericarditis is inflammation of the protective sac that surrounds the heart muscle.
It's known as the pericardium, and it has two layers that can become inflamed.
Symptoms of pericarditis:
  • Chest pain that feels like a stabbing sensation
  • Pain in the neck that may spread across the shoulders and/or arms
  • A fever
  • Nausea
  • Feeling light headed
  • A sudden shortness of breath (if you experience this get urgent medical help).
"The pain can sometimes get worse when you’re lying down and better when you’re leaning forward," the BHF added.

Yet, Shimabukuro is hesitant to believe that all the reports will turn out to be "true" cases of myocarditis or pericarditis.
The CDC commented: "CDC and its partners are actively monitoring these reports, by reviewing data and medical records, to learn more about what happened and to see if there is any relationship to COVID-19 vaccination.
"CDC continues to recommend COVID-19 vaccination for everyone 12 years of age and older, given the greater risk of COVID-19 illness and related, possibly severe complications.
"Getting vaccinated is the best way to help protect yourself and your family from COVID-19."

few people realise that this is probably the most important decision in your life

yes.b4 jab the will include giving all your healthy organs away .

Your will does not need to include giving away your organs, they are automatically given away unless you opt out.
