PEASANTPORE: Former loan sharks turned car leasing merchants are pleased with the recent car loan curbs. Some loan sharks pretending to be car leasing merchants said enquiries have gone by 10 to 30 per cent and they're hoping to cash in on the potential demand or they return to their old trades.
Car prices have risen in light of the market distortion of smaller supply of Certificates of Entitlement.
The recent car loan restriction of up to 60 per cent also means that peasants do not have access to cheap loans from the ex-Regent Woody Goh's era.
Naturally peasants and car merchants are moaning and groaning, hence Mouthpiece is asking peasants to take to car leasing as a viable and temporary solution to car ownership.
