Rankings and Patriotism always make me laugh on tank videos.. Omg Abrams is the best.. blah blah blah.. No Leopard 2.. blah blah blah, NO ITS THE T90 blah blah blah.. All MBT's are designed to serve a very strict set of parameters. It goes like this... Leopard 2 (best optics), Challenger 2 ( best armor) Merkava (Best area denial system) Abrams ( licensed the best from both Leopard and Challenger) and is now trying to integrate Merkava ADS. T90 forcing the west to upgrade, and probably damn reliable as Russian equipment usually is. Leclerc. Hey you got some damn nice cushioned seats, and your modular armor package is a novel idea. Type 90 (suspension system is excellent) k2 (mini abrams) but great for the terrain. At the end of the day its going to come down to the crew, specifically crew training. If you take logistics and support out of the equation, and base solely on a 1v1 tank battle. The CREW who out maneuvers and or gains and maintains decisive terrain will win the battle, regardless of what tank it is. I am an Abrams Tank Commander but I understand that any tank can be defeated. Learn to use what you are given, but master the fundamentals, and your success is guaranteed.

agree. plus ammo in these t-72 variants are co-located in main compartment with crew. very old school ww2 carryover design. tiong tanks are also the same. death traps. This list is such a fucking joke, I had a good laugh. any top 10 list that includes T-72 variants like the T-90 and OPLOT need to have their heads examined. Its already proven their 125mm gun is not match for a western 120mm Rheinmetall, so how can they be the top 1 and 2?
its not a WW2 carry over design. If u look at pics of WW2 destroyed T-34s, and KV1 and KV2, etc., u will find very few of them have their turret separated from the hull by an internal explosion. Even the T-55 and T-62 is not like that. The T-72 is. For whatever reason, a single penetration from a APFSDS round ignites the propellants in the tank and the internal explosion is so bad it takes the turret off. To my knowledge, this issue has not been solved, even for newer T-72 variants like the T-80. Therefore, any chinese tank based on a T-72 should also have this issue. Plus a second rate main gun.agree. plus ammo in these t-72 variants are co-located in main compartment with crew. very old school ww2 carryover design. tiong tanks are also the same. death traps.
this brings back memories of the georgian-ossetian conflict. many t-72 turrets got blown off and landed with their guns embedded in ground.its not a WW2 carry over design. Hmm, middle pic is not T-72 lahthis brings back memories of the georgian-ossetian conflict. many t-72 turrets got blown off and landed with their guns embedded in ground.

there's one that is still there, embedded in ground as a memorial. the next pic showed the same turret that was blown sky-high and crashed through the roof of the building. the building is rebuilt with the turret in the same spot.

Not the case for armour. U have very well trained Sherman M4 crews in the US army during WW2, they were still hopelessly outmatched against German Tiger and Panther tanks. Is not the hardware but the people. Remember the Little India, Riot? All the hardware in the SPF cannot even put down a riot by few empty handed Ah Nehs.
Have you read Battle of the Bulge? Stupid. Not the case for armour. U have very well trained Sherman M4 crews in the US army during WW2, they were still hopelessly outmatched against German Tiger and Panther tanks.
turret in middle pic and last pic is the same, just stripped bare of external protective packs and other add-ons that characterize the disk-like look of the t-72 turret.Hmm, middle pic is not T-72 lah
