挪威袭击事件嫌疑人布雷维克很可能被送进世界上最先进、最豪华的监狱之一哈尔登监狱。哈尔登监狱位于挪威奥斯陆郊外，设施包括录音室、慢跑道和一栋有两间卧室的独立小屋。小屋与监狱的主设施分开，囚犯的家人来探监并过夜时，可以和囚犯一起住在这里。
哈尔登监狱的牢房里配有平板电视机、小型冰箱和设计美观的家具。这里的警卫不带武器巡视监狱，经常和囚犯们一起进行体育活动或吃饭。
监狱里一半的工作人员是女性，因为根据一项研究显示，女性的存在能减少攻击性的氛围。哈尔登监狱用于囚禁挪威犯罪情节最严重的一些囚犯，包括谋杀犯和强奸犯。它是挪威第二大并且最安全的监狱。据新华社

Yeah that's how all mass murderers, child rapist and granny robbers need to be treated. KNN Jail is suppose to be a punishment. Restriction of privileges and freedom is there to punish a person for committing a crime. U put him in a vacation camp, I think he'll just commit another crime when they get out so he can go for a free vacation again
