Nokia’s first Android phone, the A1, exposed

Nokia’s long-rumored Android phone may finally be here. A leaked image from Android Authority claims to show the front and back of the device, allegedly called the A1.

The A1 looks like a solid mid-range phone, and reportedly packs a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 652 processor and a textured plastic design. The device also sports a large primary camera and a rear-facing speaker. It appears to be running Android software along with Nokia’s Z Launcher.

Rumors surrounding a new Nokia phone have been floating around since shortly after the Finnish giant sold its mobile business to Microsoft back in 2013. The deal apparently included a non-compete that blocked Nokia from making a new handset for two years, but the company is finally free to sell its own devices again in 2016. The first whispers suggested Nokia’s Android phone could be called the C1 and appeared back as early as 2015, though that device never came to fruition.

The A1 won’t be competing with the latest Android flagships, but it’s still exciting to see what could be Nokia’s return to the market.

That's good. Finally free to produce their own Android smartphones.

Soon we can have Android OS on NOKIA smartphones. Fark off Microshit.

First Android phone? In 2016? Might as well announce they are making the Laserdisc player now ....

At last a wise decision to ditch Microsoft and join the Android party. Just hope it is not too late.

Brand for nostalgia. Mid range phone can't be that pricey. If u noticed, Xiaomi and huawei are getting more and more expensive.

If Huawei high end phones costs more than $800 over dollars, u might as well get other branded ones that has

quality in most if not all aspects

resale / trade in value

no spyware / malware

won't have risks of knowing when it will explode in your face / pocket

Will be waiting for this xiaomi note....

Xiaomi's website costs slightly more. Note 3 has no external storage support. Pro version costs more with external storage support but will occupy SIM 2 slot.

I don't like the design and MIUI. Also it looks like Meizu.

Huawei is a joke to cost more than $800 when Chinese smartphones are suppose to be low costs with high specs.:D

Chinese developers are lazy and incompetent, many still on Android KitKat 4.4 with no intentions on upgrading. You wonder why? Partly its due to their inferior hardware and software that they are afraid and insecure that will cause instability.

Like Xiaomi, Huawei doesn't give a damn to customers basic needs and expects u to download third party apps. :D

Idiot Nokia ruined brand and business with STUPID Microshit Craps, which they should had ditched 10 years ago. Fucking wasted time!

They were once the top brand.

Ever since sucking on MS crap they became nothing! If they used Android, could had been today's smart phone giant above Samsung.

Fucktard Hai Gong 海戆!
