Boss, you never had to deal with the curry smell ah? This is the worst problem in my opinion, the smell really pervades the entire house.

Ah Neh in Ah Neh land doesn't eat pork. Whether they are Catholic, Christians whatever coz there is no such think as a pork seller in Ah Neh land. The Ah Neh you are staying with probably comes from other country or have been somewhere else before she came here. And the reason why we think stereotypical Ah Neh eat curry is coz their meals only consist of curry(in 1 form or another). The typical true blue Ah Neh only eat home cook food. Make them eat outside food for 1 week and they will buay tahan. I know coz I've been going to Ah Neh land more times then I care.


India is a hugh country. North, South, East, West and everything in between. Unfortunately( in my opinion), unlike China, the majority of Indians are not a homogeneous lot.

I've seen Indians in India eating pork, a stone's throw away from a pure vegetarian restaurant. I've seen many Hindus who pray at temples, having their fried beef, beef curry etc. So India is changing, as are almost every other country.

Not true. Its not fair to stereotype. There are good tenants and there are bad tenants. One man's meat is another man's poison. You may not like the all pervading curry smell. Somebody may not like some other style and smell of cooking...

Well statistically speaking a keling is more likely to screw up the tenant's place compared to a jap hence the title of this thread. Even their own kind doesn't want to rent to them this really speaks volumes of them.

As for cooking. Japs make sushi and i guess they cook the usual ramen and stuff which has its own smell but that smell isn't overpowering unlike curry.

I think the problem is that curry is just so goddamn overpowering.

I think it should be "always pays" (and not "always paid") regardless of whether it's the past or present. The word "Always" is followed by a present tense. Hope it's helpful. My two cents worth..
