ANY pay increases reaped by local professionals next year could largely be eroded by inflation - an outcome that would put Singapore bottom in the region for real wage rises.

United Overseas Bank economist Francis Tan told The Straits Times: "Inflation is going to remain stubborn for next year, and real wages will remain flat."

// this is the end my fellow singaporeans //

Stupid moronic opposition supporting retards demand wage increase for the poor. Where do you think that money is going to come from?

Increasing wage for the poor will not benefit many Singaporeans as the lowest class jobs are mainly held by cheap foreigners. Instead of increasing the quality of life for most Singaporeans who are in the middle income bracket, they just made everyone's life worse by forcing inflation to go up.

Stupid moronic opposition supporting retards need to use their almost non-existent brains
