Why don't you talk about something you know. King of tells Jews was a title given to Jesus by Pilate when he condemned him out of mockery. King of the Jews did not come from Jesus' mouth. Jesus said render unto Ceasar the things that are Ceasar's and to God the things that are God's. Pilate wanted to set him free but it was the Jews who asked for his blood. If Amos had been better informed he would have seen Jesus wasn't anything like LKY.
Agreed.
The trouble with amos with his understanding of Christianity is that he picks selected texts in the Bible and make his own conclusions about the Christian faith. Not that he doesn't understand the Bible, in fact, I do believe he has a good intellectual knowledge of the bible , but in his videos on Christianity , he is very smart to choose those selected texts that he intentionally wanted to convey Christianity in a bad light. The whole idea is to influence impressionable viewers and convince them that Christianity is a hoax and Jesus is just a liar and a power-crazy man.
By drawing the conclusion about Christianity, he also infers from his video about LKY that the late LKY is also very similar to his portrayal of Jesus.
I can understand why Christians do not want to prosecute amos because this is exactly what Jesus has commanded his disciples to do ; return evil with good. However, the Bible always advocates that the truth be told even as we need to forgive our offenders. (Ephesians 4 : 25 - 29 ) A lot of Christians are offended, if you were to ask them to speak from their hearts ... about what amos said about Jesus... if they are not offended, there is something wrong about the truth they know about Jesus. And speaking the truth does not undermine the Christian's willingness to forgive and love amos. This is what Christians mean when they are speaking the truth in love.
