Japanese Agriculture: forced kinds of radiation meters of contaminated agricultural land without compensation
Ming Pao, Ming Pao - January 23, 2012 Monday 5:40 AM

[Ming Pao] Japan's 3.11 earthquake and nuclear disaster occurred nearly a year, and then exposing sequelae. The outbreak of the Fukushima nuclear accident around the first nuclear power plant rice farmers harvest rice self-test, revealed contain radioactive cesium exceeded government safety levels, reflecting the agricultural land has been contaminated. Has directed the government and farmers do not want compensation Tokyo Electric Power, so they have no choice, knowing that contaminated agricultural land is still "forced" to continue to cultivate a living, so people take risks to eat irradiated food.

Last fall, the Japanese government from the Fukushima nuclear power plant 56 km northwest of big-wave region of Fukushima Prefecture, 154 meters from the local farmers in the rice produced in taking two tests, declared safe to eat locally produced rice. However, doubts about the results of local farmers, it was not for the visiting grandchildren to eat their own species of rice, take examinations revealed that contained rice per kilogram of radioactive cesium-500 Baker beyond the safety level. Farmers pointed out that the Tokyo Electric Power Company is only 20 km radius of the nuclear power plant in full compensation for farmers, the farmers are forced out of the loop in the evacuation continue to plant crops that may contain radiation in order to maintain their livelihood, have no choice.

Fukushima radioactive cesium exceeded rice

Japanese Government had earlier agreed to a comprehensive test more than 25,000 m Fukushima agricultural crops, in order to allay public fears of radiation meters. Fukushima nuclear power plant in the Northwest since nuclear contamination is more serious collected nearly 5,000 samples tested, about one-fifth of rice containing radioactive cesium, most of them are security level, only 30 samples exceeded the cesium content, but the Ministry of Health will this year April introduction of new radiation safety standards, including rice, the most radioactive cesium-100 per kilogram Baker, this standard is about 300 rice samples exceeded.

Agriculture officials have acknowledged that the wind scattered radiation contamination, random sampling is insufficient to ensure safety of all crops, but due to lack of testing equipment can not detect all agricultural products. Officials also said although the public questioned whether the plant should be allowed to continue farming the nearby farmland, but to stop farming will make a substantial reduction of arable land, affecting the food supply.

Incident has once again revealed the lack of transparency in Japan's food radiation detection. Many Japanese people believe that the government played down or even to conceal the risks of radiation on public health, designated in the affected areas to minimize the size, reduce economic losses and compensation payments. Professor of economics at Keio University, Tokyo Mitsuhiro Fukao that the Japanese government after the earthquake, "as usual" strategy played down the incident, but the online flow of information, so that people understand that the official test is not reliable. Voluntary agencies have set up several monitoring stations in the country for more rigorous, transparent tests, hoping to win back consumer confidence.

radiation from Fukushima already detected long ago in Europe and Canada, USA.....................

the Japs can't evacuate the country so expect the rich Japs to move abroad in large numbers..................the population in Japan will decline even more.........................

Would it be that if I wear a pair of Sony earphones in my ears then radiation will fry my brains to get cancer?

even if the products not made in Japan..................also got radiation but only less............

especially made in nearby China..............

You want radioactive CB that glows in the dark so you will always find the hole?:D

Buy Geiger counter and test for radiation before having sex with Japanese woman.
