To be fair, anybody can rent the SAFRA function room for any kind of activities. If you're cheapskate enough you could even use it as the place to host your wedding dinner.

The organization which had rented the room was KTPH, and it just so happens that KTPH is hosting a Xmas party for its Pinoy staff.

A more pertinent question is why are there so many FT nurses in Singapore, especially the Pinoys. You have already witnessed the perils of having too many PRC bus drivers and Indian workers.
