Doing our best to distribute phone books

I REFER to Mr Goh Whye Liang's Forum Online letter, 'Why make collection of phone books so difficult?' (Jan 6). I thank him for his interest in the official Singapore phone books.
Since he finds it convenient to collect the phone book from Yellow Pages Building in Toa Payoh, this facility continues to be available as stated in the collection slip sent to all phone subscribers.
This year, we have increased the number of collection points to 38, from 31 last year. These are in addition to collection from Yellow Pages Building.
We hope Mr Goh and other users will understand the constraints we face as we try to continue to provide this resource as conveniently to users as we can.
