Now that will be worse for whoever bought Bukom.
My understanding is that producing naphta on bukom to supply their ethylene crackers is cost effective. Needing to buy naphta will erode the margins even further.
If shell cannot turn a profit, new owners buying raw materials will definitely lose.

The big petroleum players know Asian market will be shrinking with the new push on renewable/green energy. The Bukom plant had a good run. Time to become a chalet resort
