unless you are a sport photographer then you need a DSLR, and not the lower end DSLR, you need a D4.
unless you work in an dirty or wet environment, you need a DSLR, and not the cheap DSLR, you need a D4,

so in fact you do not need a DSLR, what you need is a mirrorless.

because mirrorless image quality is creeping up towards DSLR, soon to surpass it. due to the space in the past where the flip up mirror used to be in SLR, you dun have it anymore in mirrorless, which means the lens can be close to sensor, which means better image quality.

mirrorless is smaller and lighter.

the only disadvantage is price.
