Nicole Kidman's father dies after accident in Singapore

Actress Nicole Kidman's father has died following an accident in Singapore.

Dr Antony Kidman was visiting his daughter Antonia Kidman, who lives here with her husband and six children, when the incident occurred.

There were conflicting reports as to the cause of his death.

News.com.au reported that Dr Kidman suffered a fall at Antonia’s house and died suddenly, while Daily Mail Australia reported that the doctor was involved in a road side accident.

Dr Kidman was the director of the health psychology unit at Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital and a recipient of the Order of Australia medal, reported The Australian Woman's Weekly.

Antonia is a journalist and TV presenter, reported 9News.com.au.
