Well, between Istana open house and HLP protest, i would rather go to HLP. It provides better entertainment.

A naughty thought just crossed my mind. Will security have the guts to throw people out of the Istana open house if they went there wearing anti 6.9 million T-shirts? A few hundred of those will be enough, the thousands can go to Hong Lim Park.

No need to say or do anything. The T-shirts speak for themselves.

And they can do it EVERY time there is an Istana open house.

Will they dare to stop holding Istana open houses if this happens?

Taiwanese protestors forced their Government to put the issue of a fourth nuclear reactor to the vote by referendum. Yes, an example of people power in an island with a very similar culture - Hokkiens, Hakkas and mainland refugees from the Civil War.

Sinkies can do the same and force the PAPzis to put the White Paper recommendations to a referendum with clearly defined and simple YES or NO.

Having another protest is a reminder to people who may be too caught up in their everyday struggles and have forgotten all about the PWP.

Has everyone forgotten about AIM? The government has been dragging their feet on this issue.
