New Yorker lunch sandwich cost USD29. 90.

Eat halal chinese restaurant in new York. Can you believe that. Not one gram of pork served there

In the service industry workers are paid 25 to 30 per hour. Shittypore 10 to 15 per hr.

That's what happens when you keep printing money to sponsor overseas DEI and lgbt operations

New York still ranks below S'pore as the most expensive city in the world.
Since 2016, I feel that Tokyo , New York price dun really varies too much from SG Liao during my overseas working trip

Americans and Japanese can choose to buy a house away from New York and Tokyo, but for S'poreans, the astronomical cost of living affects the whole damn country. Cars are far cheaper in both the US and Japan as well.

My family went on a shopping spree in Shinjuku, Tokyo 2 years ago. We bought apparel and shoes from Onitsuka Tiger, Nike, Adidas among other brands at 10 - 20% less compared to S'pore.

If Swiss nationals find staying in Zurich or Geneva too costly, they can always shift to places like Uri or Obwalden where the cost of living is significantly lower. The cost of living is no different for S'poreans in Bukit Timah compared to Bedok; only the value of their homes would differ.

The quality of life in present day S'pore for the masses is nowhere close to Switzerland, even in 1984. The policies that have driven rapid economic growth as well as our population expansion have created a myriad of social problems. Apart from the wealthy minority, the Swiss standard of living remains elusive to most S'poreans.
