New York Governor Paterson’s son arrested
January 13th, 2010 - 6:03 am ICT by BNO News

NEW YORK CITY (BNO NEWS) –New York Governor Paterson’s son was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and subsequently released to his parents.

New York Daily News reported that Governor Paterson’s fifteen year-old son was arrested for possession of a stolen credit card after police officers caught him shooting dice near his Upper West Side school.

When officers searched his belongings, they found a credit card in someone else’s name, traced it, and determined it was stolen. BNO News has not yet been able to independently confirm this.

The Governor’s son, a student at Beacon High School, was arrested around 3 p.m. and taken into the 20th precinct.

“Earlier today, Governor Paterson’s son was taken into the 20th precinct and subsequently released to his parents,” said Marissa Shorenstein, Paterson’s Press Secretary. “The Governor and the First Lady ask that their privacy is respected during this personal time.”

It is currently unknown what charges, if any, will be filed.

The Daily News is saying that the credit card was stolen and spotted Michelle Paterson picking her son up from the station— they're saying it's not clear if he's been charged:
The First Lady, wearing sunglasses, appeared distraught as she exited the precinct out a side door just before 5 p.m. and got into the front seat of the Tahoe. She was followed moments later by her son, who was wearing a hooded puffy jacket.
He got into the back seat of the SUV, hunched down and covered himself with blankets to shield himself from photographers.

Actually I think it is all right for politicians' children to go wayward. They are humans, after all.

I get it as you mean to say, "I am not surprised", otherwise if I put it another way, it is alright for our Prime Minister's son to steal a credit card from your pocket.:p

However I knew, that most Singaporean thinks it's alright for our Prime Minister's wife to gamble all our all hard earned money away without regret.

if ever a credit card of another person's name appear in the procession of PM's son, the guy would be charged for trying to frame PM's son.. no way the son would ever be committed of such crimes.. not in spore anyway..
