toyota v8 engine is built in huntsville, al for their tundra truck line. at one time, they didn't even build v8 at all; they bought v8 from an american supplier. not surprised that the 300 series relies on v6 instead. they are so well built and roomy that more homeless bums are buying older models over 16.9 years ago from junkyards for pennies to the dollar. i see a fleet of them in and around homeless encampments. if you drive one in sillycon valley, high ses folks would think you're homeless looking for curb space to park for months.
