If Najib is out, its very bad for Singapore. We pulled his strings so very easily.

Thats why Mahathir wants Najib out.

But once Najib is out, investors in JB beware! History may repeat itself.

That's always a problem when investing in Malaysia. If a change of Government comes along, foreign investors will get nervous especially if PAS comes to power as they are "unknown" in terms of the type of economic policies they will deploy.

If UMNO retains power and Muhyiddin takes over, Iskandar may prosper more as he will definitely want to play up his home state as Mahatir try to do with Kulim Hi Tech Park in his home state of Kedah when he was in power.

Sinkies always underestimate their northern neighbours. When i invested in the country i have considered the political risk and my belief remains - Malaysia is mature enough NOT to let itself spiral into uncontrolled/permanent chaos like what set Thailand/Philippine/Indonesia back by a decade. Sinkies always compare Malaysia with these 3 countries but like it or not, Malaysia is more like Singapore than the other 3 countries? Why? Because majority of population enjoy the fruit of economic prosperity.

If the power-to-be in UMNO feels that Najib will weigh the party down, they will simply edge him out for another guy - period.
