Serious New Offer By SingTel......Good Deal, You Think ?

just got a call from SingTel say i need to pay $31.90/mth for Fibre broadband + Free home phone line..........is it a good deal ?

i remember someone told me Starhub Fibre is $20+ a mth and also got Free home phone line............anyone can confirm ?

I think there are only 2 fibre prices nowadays: free or $39... This was about 4 mths ago when I enquired

I am using one that tout 1gb....but they will blame the equipment....& give plenty of excuses....you know, it is just a marketing gimmick...you can get 300mb you smile....the one I am using for sometime already is My Republic....

I recently renewed my contract & came to the same conclusion & downgraded from 1gb to 300mbs. With my new ISP I am also getting free voice connection if the calls are local.

The Voice connection is NOT FREE...the sneaky b$$%$%d charges you a small fee per month...I had it CANCELLED....why would I need a house phone?.

Are you using M1? I checked with M1 & they told me that the Internet telephone is free for local calls.

When I was using My Republic the voice line is extra $ & that's why I told them no thanks & they changed my Ont to the smaller one, the one without the extra inputs.

I also have an old SingTel land line which I was going to terminate but they told me that I could keep it for free. Only have to pay if I make outgoing calls. Incoming calls are still free. The downside is that this offer has to be renewed on a yearly basis.

you people can download how fast ( torrents ) with the M1 Fibre Broadband 300Mbps ? it depends on the torrents but mine seems average 2mb/s, never seen it go higher than 4mb/s.
