New i-Pad Mass Returned! Mass Rejected! Mass Complaints!

apple i revolution is a fad, it is like during the dotcom days. i have friends on ipad classic and ipad old version 2. how long can they keep up the hype now that steve jobs is no longer around.

I used to be sceptical of some Apple products, back when the 1st plastic iMac was sold 20+ years back. I didn't think it would sell because it was quite limited. The iMac went on to become very, very .. successful & more colors was introduced. Apple understands more than other companies what people are willing to pay for. That is why they are where they are now, the world's largest company by valuation

I might not understand why they are so successful but I've made money by investing in their shares:)

I carry around a simple Sony Ericson W810. For me I'd rather invest in something like a MacPro laptop than a $1,000 iPhone. Even if you think it's dumb, there are obviously millions upon millions of happy iPhone owners out there & the important thing is they are willing to spend $$$.

Even Sam uses a Mac but he claims to use a Moto phone :)

So why get all so worked up about it:confused: Granted you have to pay more for an Apple product but isn't that the same for all branded goods:confused: At least with Apple products you are getting a quality product. In my case I've actually bought Apple shares through the years & profited enormously from it :)

i use a blackberry Q10.

its all the same. just apples and oranges!

:o i bet he flipped too. :o

It's also depends on one's needs.

I know plenty who are happily using their smartphone as a semi-replacement for a PC. Many like the mobility a smartphone offers them. For me I prefer using a larger screened device like a desktop or laptop.

There is also the matter of cost. To really take advantage of a smartphone you need an expensive data plan. I now someone who can update his iPhone regularly because he is being subsidised by his employer because his job requires that he is reachable outside of office hours.
