In recent weeks, I've been watching both the new and old Hawaii Five O on AXN. The old about 6 or 7 episodes, the new 3 episodes so far.
Have to say that I much prefer the new version to the old. Some of you traditionalists may object, but have to say the truth. :o
Reasons:
1. Kono is now Grace Park who wears a bikini or spaghetti top half the time, instead of big ugly guy. :o
2. Danno now argues all the time with McGarrett, instead of always "Ok Steve" in the old version.
3. Acting, action scenes, plot, twists, colour, scenery are all much better in the new version than the old.
4. In the old version, stories were usually always centred around McGarrett (played by the late Jack Lord). New version, every character has a story.
