Not only does the new EZ-link card history not show information on the last destination you travelled to, it also doesn't show the final fare deduction.
What if the wrong fare is deducted, questions this STOMPer, who feels if that happens, the commuter will have no evidences to track back which fare from which trip was wrongly deducted.
Richard tells STOMP:
"The New Ezlink card transactions history does not show information on bus service number or Mrt start and end stations. The actual final fare deduction is also not shown for bus fares.
"Hence, if there is any wrong fare deduction on buses, you will have no evidence to see which bus service caused the problem.
"For MRT rides, you will not be able to count the number of stations you took, or the amount you had to pay, since the start and end stations are not viewable.
"Thus, there is no way you can verify the fares deducted.
"Hence, this new system makes it harder to track your transaction records.
"You are made to accept whatever deductions shown as true account of your ride.
"Had LTA cleverly design it this way to hide details from passengers and prevent passengers from knowing details of their own rides?
"Subsequently, any wrongful over deduction will not be detectable by passengers and this will eventually benefit the bus operators."
No information on bus service number taken and the destination which a commuter travels to
