On behalf of my grassroots volunteers, leaders and residents, I would like to thank PAP for their foresight in importing talented foreigners to make up for the lack of ability of so many mediocre sinkies. If not for our foreign talent pool, Singapore would not be able to punch above its weight in the international arena.

Feng Tianwei won the Table Tennis Asian Cup on Sunday, the first time ever that Singapore has ever won it.
Feng, a Singapore new citizen who is originally from China, was able to beat China's Liu Shiwen in the Singles' final.
Liu is world number 3 and Feng, world number 4, defeated her 3-11, 11-8, 11-9, 7-11, 11-1, 12-10.
The competition was held in Jaipur, India and is also the first time ever that a Singaporean has won the Asian Table Tennis Cup.
