武漢肺炎（COVID-19，新冠肺炎）疫情還沒趨緩，但現在中國又傳出「新布尼亞病毒」（new bunyavirus），在今年至少62人感染，甚至已經出現7人死亡的案例。
根據中國媒體《健康時報》報導，南京一名婦人出現40度高燒、咳嗽、血小板減少的情形，緊急就醫後，這才發現感染了新布尼亞病毒。報導中指出，感染後，患者體內的血小板、白血球會迅速減少，最後甚至會導致腦出血、多器官衰竭，死亡率相當高。
但南京這名婦人其實不是中國今年以來的第一位感染者，她是江蘇人民醫院接診的第37位感染者；此外，安徽省今年4月以來，也已經有23人感染，其中有5人死亡，而浙江省也有2人死亡的情形。
