New attacks in Gulf as Iran vows more

On March 26, 2026, President Donald Trump announced on social media an extension of the pause on planned military strikes targeting Iranian energy facilities. An additional 10 days new deadline is set for Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8:00 PM ET.

Yemen's Houthis enter Iran war with attacks on Israel, while US Marines arrive in region

Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis have shown an ability to strike targets far beyond Yemen and disrupt shipping lanes around the Arabian Peninsula and the Red Sea

Trump finally showed his true color
In statements made on March 29 and 30, 2026, President Trump openly expressed his preference for "taking the oil" in Iran. He likened this goal to recent U.S. military actions in Venezuela, implying that the United States could seize and maintain control over Iranian oil assets "indefinitely."
So seizing of Iran's oil is no in the 15-point list

Trump postponed the planned attack on the largest electric power plant to April 6, 2026, to allow more time for negotiations, which he described as progressing well with the new regime's leaders. However, Tehran experienced a blackout before the deadline.

It appears to be a deliberate attempt to deceive and create a false narrative, allowing the adversary to remain unaware of any potential plans that the aggressors may be preparing to implement. Example of a sudden and unexpected attack during an ongoing peace negotiation, such as one that is already executed before.

Only the next minute of Trump after is able to beat the moment before Trump.
The Wall Street Journal disclosed on Tuesday that U.S. President Trump recently revealed to his staff in an internal meeting that he is ready to end military operations against Iran, even if the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy lifeline, is still in a state of de facto blockade. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said on Monday that more than half of the goals of the war against Iran have been achieved, but he did not give a timetable for the end of the war

Trump address: Trump said the US’ war could be done within two to three weeks, and will deliver an address to the nation tonight. Tehran though says it is prepared for “at least six months” of fighting.

Latest strikes: Houthi rebels in Yemen said they launched ballistic missiles at southern Israel, in a joint operation with Iran and Hezbollah, as the US and Israel continue to bombard Tehran. Elsewhere, a child was wounded after Iranian missile fragments hit central Israel.

Market reaction: Oil prices fell and stocks rose today following Trump’s comments on the timeline for ending the war. However, prospects for a quick reopening of the Strait of Hormuz are unclear.

US could 'finish the job' in Iran in two or three weeks, Trump says

President Trump has said that US military action in Iran could end as soon as "two or three weeks" - with or without a deal brokered between the two sides.
