A Yahoo poll showed that almost half (43%) of Singapore thought that the recent Budget allocations announced by Finance Secretary Heng Swee Keat were bad, only 7% thought it was good while the rest viewed it as mediocre.

According to Lim Tean, chairman of the People’s Voice of Singapore Political Party, Singaporeans saw through the Budget drafted by the PAP government, which he alleged does nothing to improve their lives and chances of a better future.

Lim Tean also said the schemes talked about in Heng’s speech showed how a Finance Minister and a Government lacked the imagination to suitably drive the country forward.

Only 7% Of Singaporeans Think Budget 2019 Is Good !

No need for all the fake news in our 153rd ranked MSM about how Singaporeans welcomed the 2019 Budget delivered by Heng Swee Keat. Look at the Yahoo poll below which shows that 43% of Singaporeans think it is a bad Budget while 35% think of it as only average. Only 7% think it is good.

Singaporeans realise that this is a vote-buying Budget by the PAP government, which does nothing to improve their lives and prospects for a better future. Heng Swee Keat’s speech showed a Finance Minister and a Government severely lacking in imagination on how to propel our Nation forward. It was all spin and fluff and Heng Swee Keat should have been spinning and selling cotton candy.

Well done Singaporeans for seeing through the trickery and sleight of hand. Remember to Take The Money But Vote Them Out #TTMBUTVTO

Regardless of the contents, the presentation is an important part of delivering the message.

If you're letting a boring, uncharismatic imbecile deliver the message, it's hardly a surprise people aren't receptive to it.

Fake news. Where is the data? What is the sample size? Noting to support must be fake news.

The PAP have faith in resilience of sinkies to survive hard times on their own. As the saying goes, hard times create strong men, and strong men create good times. Good times just around the corner, bros! :geek:

70% of the residents polled by my RC said that the budget was good. They were pleased with the increased in subsidies for their medical expenses.

HSK promises $300 GST cash voucher woh, but this is what kee chiu has to say about it.

You got a point, the late LKY hate or love him...his presentation & delivery is a class above any of the PAP ministers then & even now. HSK, talks like he is addressing a group of primary school children...

only 6.9% think budget is good but 69% will still vote for pap. that’s the undeniable and indisputable sinkie formula for sg. highly predictable.
