The trays serve two purposes, one to help the person carry more dishes.
Two, to collect the spillage and whatever the consumer spits out.
So kumgong Amy started 2 things she felt very proud of, let's help examine how farkdap and dumb are her ideas.
One she introduced fee for taking trays.
So people started avoiding the trays as it's so much more troublesome to go recover back the $1.
This of course leads to more dirty tables as people start spitting directly on the table than the tray. The machines also cost money to invent, create and maintain. They did not drop form the sky FOC, staffs are still equired to mend the stations. All these cost have to pass to someone. So how efficient was it was anyone's guess.
Kumgong Amy in her parallel universe mandated tray return kiosk. People start using the trays again.
But cleaners no longer bothered to go around and clean the tables so the tables gradually become more dirty. Cleaners gather at the tray collection zones chatting and became a choke point blocking the way.
So she successfully figured out two ways to make the hawkers more dirty in this pandemic situation.
