Neh Beheaded His Own Papa

I believe playing games (especially graphics intensive games such as PUBG) on a mobile phone is a waste of storage space and battery life.

All it does is keep you distracted, and young children today have lost the art of keeping still, watching people and observing the environment, and mentally stimulating themselves without requiring stimuli from gadgets and the Internet. They play games while waiting at the clinic, waiting for a haircut, while waiting for public transport to arrive etc.
I agree with you. Mobile phone and tablets have become so powerful and cheap, everyone has a mobile computer on them all the time. Tech is a double edged sword. Great to have if one needs to be in touch for business, school work and for emergencies. Other than that, everything else is non-essential. This is one of the reasons I like going on sea cruises. Once out of port, there is no data. Everyone goes back to living in the 1990s.

Many studies have shown cognitive benefits of gaming, but as others have said, in moderation.

We also lost the ability to rub sticks to make fire or navigate by the stars. It's just the way of the future. No point harping on the past.

Yes, everything in moderation.

Not harping on the past, just feeling nostalgic at times. The same way some people can appreciate old songs, collect vintage cars, watches, vinyl records etc.
