Need advice - what kind of tech biz/ e biz can a non tech guy start?

Hello everyone,

I've always been impressed by how people in tech field can scale the biz and achieve greater level of success in short period of time as compared to old tycoons in traditional biz.. just to name a few..

Mark Zuckerberg at age 31 is worth 40billion.. much more Li Ka shing, Robert Kuok etc who devoted more than 50 years building their empire.
Dustin horowitz , elon musk etc also very young but worth billions more than our asia tycoons


Tech is scalable and able to reach wider mass than brick and mortar biz.. my question is... I'm a non techie that wish toto make a career in tech biz. What are some trainings that I should take and also what kind of business is suitable for non techie to do and yet can make a good career out of? In local scene, I ready some dudes sold their local Groupon alike site for 25 million, Hardwardzone and SG car mart etc... Are these tough for non tech guy to start?

i have been pondering about this for a long time to come but lack of support made me shelve my plans. i think we are behind time, there are many startups out there aiming to be the next facebook. but if you are interested in programming, go for web.

Brick and mortar take lots of lots of years to build up to an empire. All those tech people took less than 10 years to overtake them and can scale at probably greater speed.

non-techies cannot make it coz he biggest weakness is that you are a NON-techie.....you can try but you have no idea what you want to do, no idea how to do it and no idea where to start.....you will forever be dependant on the Tech guy that you have to hire....

however, if you have plenty of money and some management cow sense, you can be a venture partner and choose a tech start-up that you like and fund their success...if it makes money, you will make your share as well

li ka shing and robert kuok have the business minds and the midas touch,and others like richard branson,lord sugar,philip green,sam walton and even sheldon adelson,these people have the ability to take any businesses and turn it into a hundred million even billion dollar enterprise and do it multiple times.elon musk also proved it by setting up two brick and mortar companies after his first internet company.sheldon adelson set up over 50 companies in his life and was a billionaire before he even went into casinos.richard branson smashed multiple industries and multiple countries with his entrepreneurship,even setting up airlines in africa.li ka shing he is superman.

without the internet these mark zucks and jack mas will be nobodies.maybe they might be successful and have a small company but nobodies.
