NEA more keen on collectine fines than public hygene

The mandarins running NEA has converted it into a profit center.
Deploying most of its staff to sit in coffee shops and hang around
public places to catch smokers and litterbugs.

Ready to pounce on the unwary with a fine imposition.

What about the real job of deploying field officers to monitor
hygene and sanitation at eating houses and food courts etc ?

Well, fine collection is top priority for these good for nothings.
How to pay fat salaries if not by collecting fines ?

Public health and safety can wait.
Entrapping and fining people takes priority.

The MRT stations lack dustbins...if you can find them, they are on ground level, hidden away in remote corners.

We have to fine these civil serpents, scums, - hold them accountable, if the public fall sick or die from food poisoning - due to their negligence to check sanitation and hygene at makan places, becoz they are too busy trapping and fining people.

Got all the manpower to hang around coffee shops and mall entrances. But no manpower to do the job they are expected to do.
