NDP rehearsal major cock up. Tank collides onto traffic light.

Who's the vehicle commander and driver? Be prepared to sign extra or even kena charged for the cock up. If this had happened in North Korea, they'll be executed straight away by fat boy.

already announced that no punishment will be made to them .... they ask public to be understanding and consider ourselves lucky that nobody inside the tank injured and the tank not damaged instead .... :roflmao:

Why doesn't the SAF perform airdrop of smaller army vehicles? Should be more fun.

Tiong self broadcaster keep laughing when reporting the incident that it is a used asset meant for DaZhong

Rehearsals serves a purpose. Such are meant to IRON OUT issues before the REAL event, as the ENLIGHTENED in charged of Operations knows that no mortal of equipment is perfect.

During the insignificant nobody me in my formative years to serve my Nation in the Military, REHEARSALS were only normal, as our teams practice again and again, and then again, tired and presumed useless and time consuming, but eventually realized after successful missions, over every Risk Management factors, to find out critical errors, acknowledge such and IMPROVE upon such so as to ENSURE Mission Success.

It is only Hollywood movies and Armchair Morons ASS U ME, that a team can be gathered overnight, supposedly experienced in skills and equipment as they professed to be over years, that Mission success can be accomplished WITHOUT teamwork, motivation, and every factors considered in every form - personnel, training, service support, etc, etc....

Ultimately, rehearsals do serve a necessary purpose, for a REAL event, in peace or war, and MUST never be under-estimated. What that is trained, becomes INSTINCTIVE immediate reactions, to save one's and others lives.......

What does going DB help? Should give more hours of training mah....lanjiao

Thanks Mr Eisenhut for you intelligent and wise input, even if...rather crude, which is only normal Humanity behavior in the face of insanity by others....

Just to share an experience, and none needs to read it:-

1. After my military service, I was fortunate to find job in a civil and private enterprise trading company for private enterprise knowledge, with a good boss that I respected, as he was firm but yet kind to his workers and staff under him, but sadly departed from the face of the Earth now as he had medical conditions that could not prolong his eventful life....

2. During my term there, one of my colleagues made a minor mistake, that harmed no one, except for my boss's Japanese Principles. The Japanese are a strict Civilization at EVERY level and would tolerate NO mistakes, minor and major, and the Regional Manager DEMANDED that staff be FIRED.

3. While accepting the Principals' terms and demands, my boss instead chose to put my colleague on SUSPENSION leave for 3 months, under still company's payroll, as my colleague was a proven over years a hard working man and leader, seldom took leaves or MCs over a period of 5 yrs, and was thus valued.

4. His rationale was - 'why cut the toe of one just to please the insanity of others? '

5. After 3 months, as jobs and contracts piled up in the successful company, my boss RE-INSTITUED the position of my colleague, and the Japanese Regional manager even though aware of what happened, kept his mouth shut, as ULTIMATELY, his career and success lays in RESULTS, and looked the other way.......

I look at it differently. I was forced into conscription for 2.5 years. So no choice but to waste the 2.5 years. But I made sure that I got away with as much shit as possible during this time. Which I did. So don't tell me about taking training seriously. I don't know what that is. My objective then was to clock the hours and stay out of sight and out of trouble.
