If I understand correctly, prosecution had filed a motion within that 14 days for appeal, pending the ground of judgement from the judge. Not sure on the status though.

Personally, I do not think they will appeal. Star witness CS had been impeached. On what new evidence are they going to base on for the appeal? Unless they want to challenge on the ground of judgement.
