Children at the NTUC My First Skool in Toa Payoh, where an abuse case was reported last week, are "cheerful and confident".

Member of Parliament (Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC) Josephine Teo said this in a Facebook post on Wednesday evening after she made a visit to the centre in the morning. The childcare centre is where a 51-year-old part-time teacher allegedly abused a three-year-old boy last week. The teacher was sacked on Monday.

Mrs Teo also wrote that she was "concerned" about the centre's teachers. "They told me they were initially fearful of the reactions of other parents, but were deeply touched when many parents came forth to express support and encouragement," she wrote.

The management of the centre should be given time to implement other improvements, she wrote, adding that parents should be reassured by the management's attitude in learning from this episode and resolve to make things better. Since the incident happened last Friday, the centre's playgroup class, which has 45 children aged 30 months to three years, has seen fewer absentees. Seven students were absent on Wednesday, compared to eight on Tuesday and 14 the day before.

Note to politicians: if you want to get the real picture, never visit a place with an official announcement and an accompanying entourage.

Your recce team, liaison officers, security officers, porlumpar errand volunteers will spruce up the place, and in this case, probably made sure that the poor kids rehearsed their songs and smiles beforehand.

Go alone, go unannounced and go incognito. Follow Emperor Qian Long's example.

Of course, it is another story if you're just seeking a photo op.

Is or has her kid ever been to any NTUC child care?......................................... Yeah, thought so...

they love to curtain dress and they loved to be curtain dressed. this is what honesty and integrity is all about to them. to everyone who's looking at them, it is a big joke - as usual, as always.

She is just going through the motion, and making the 120% predictable remarks. She has never been able to articulate anything beyond the script given to her.
Another chiak liau bee minister. Throw a coin at the cabinet, and you will hit a dud.

Agree. The PAP just never learn don't they. The more they speak the more people laugh at them. Anything that comes out from their mouths are either super obvious that need not be said or outright absolute nonsense. But it's good for the next GE. Let them continue and frequently make a fool of themselves.

Important questions on the management need to be addressed:

1. How often does management view CCTV recordings?
2. Why didn't the other teachers intervene when the abuse was happening?
3. What is the teacher-children ratio for this centre and on that day of the incident?

Errrr, sorry, to be a vase, you need to be generally accepted as being pretty but an airhead.
LOL LOL LOL

They want only to fucking wayang wayang

Must have photos and photos
If photos not good enough, touch up and photoshop away until they appear like God and Goddess

Bro,

To these MPs, it is just a job. This can be seen for the mere fact that they need to be motivated with money to stay in the job.

Why would they want to make their own job difficult? If go alone see something wrong, must do follow-up and resolve. Then may also offend the MP in-charge of NTUC and spoil relatonship.

Might as well go with prior notice and report only the nice thing...no problem and good for everyone.

In the first place NTUC should not employ the lady who dressed up a Zorro
only can see two Eye balls! Ordinary tudong is acceptable but not this!

Children looking at her dressing already in dead fear, like hantu!!
And her atrocious behaviour towards children this is really uncalled for!!

The bigger concern here is that if the system throw up people like her (and the likes of Lawrence Wong, Grace Fu etc) we really have a problem.

we already have problems with these farked-tup incumbents, Houston calling.....

You think jack asses Teo will be so hardworking?

Like you said then these white scums got to quietly visit army camps, bus depots, hospitals, schools etc etc not forgeting the mental insitution.

If these scums were doing these things then the PRC bus drivers would not be needing to strike to make their cause known that SBS employer was ill treating them.

Maybe fuck Teo need to also visit the Istana to see whether all the other scums are skiving or working.

Especially Tony.
